Shaunacee's Testimonial

My overall transformation in 2016!

From back in January (right pic) to the middle of November. (left pic) In just a little over 10 months time of joining this sport, I used to eat a low nutritional value diet, ate too much fast food, and had no idea what sole was or how to even prepare butternut or spaghetti squash. Now I have learnt about the importance of macros, how to portion control, and maintain a very healthy, nutritional diet with balancing a cheat meal and not over indulging.

With hard work, dedication and discipline, I have earned Pro-cards in both organizations I have competed in! I have always been an athlete and have had a very active lifestyle, but it does not compare to the lifestyle I have created for myself now. Thank you both  Wendy and Kevin for challenging me to be my best version of me. I cannot thank Team Endurance enough for bringing such a positive impact on my life. I am truly blessed!

Cyndi's Post Partum Transformation

"2 years ago I nervously stepped on stage for the first time and placed 3rd in bikini and 5th in fitness model.  I was shocked and amazed at what my body could do with Wendy's guidance and the support of the TEAM ENDURANCE community.

November 2014 I had my second baby and decided to challenge myself with another walk on the stage ... this time with a smaller window post baby.  I knew that I NEEDED to have Wendy by my side once again.   I moved to BC just before the birth of my baby, so wendy put together my post baby nutrition and workouts -- everything was done virtually and again, wendy was able to whip me into shape. 

Support was no different with emails, videos, phone calls and weekly check ins.  Mid way through my training I got a bit of a reality check and Wendy was able to give me the virtual kick in the butt I needed.

Kari Lynn's Testimonial

In May I made the decision that I wanted to compete in November. This was no small task as I have so much weight to lose, muscle to grow and confidence to build. But since I won the New Year New You challenge I wanted to achieve something else that made me proud.


I made this decision without even taking into consideration that I was going into summer-prime patio season! Add onto that a long vacation booked prior to my decision and the task seemed daunting. How was I going to get to the physical condition needed to walk on a stage in an itty bitty little bikini in front of hundreds of people? Well, when Wendy and Kevin kept telling me I could do it and with that little saying “Trust the process” in the back of my mind I just followed the workout plan and adhered to the meal plan as best I could. Both of these were quite challenging at first and in my mind I kept hearing Kevin’s voice in my head “Yes you can” when I needed to just push through 3 more reps. Wendy helped me realize that if something isn’t working quite right with a meal plan, she can just change it to satisfy my hunger and see how my body changes.


The encouragement from them and their belief in my capabilities have truly helped me believe I can do this. I’m so excited to get on stage in November that my mindset has now changed from “I can’t eat that because it’s not on my plan” to “I’m so excited to eat these delicious berries”! Or from“Ugh, I have to go to the gym at lunch” to “I bet I can lift more today because I’m feeling so much stronger”. When you start to believe in yourself these decisions get easier and it brings even more happiness to your soul.

Dawn's Testimonial

I was always an active person, going to the gym 5 days a week and playing on various sports teams for fun. However, I was not in the shape I wanted to be in. I didn't know what I was doing wrong - after all I was very active and eating "healthy", even if I was grinding away at my desk job 8-14 hours a day (depending on the season). In January 2014, I set a personal goal to compete in a fitness competition. I was referred to Endurance on 8th, by a friend and hit it off with Wendy right away. She was knowledgeable and tailored my meal plans specific to my intolerances, as I have a several dietary restrictions which I realize now were causing me to be bloated, have inflammation, and left me feeling overall rundown. I wasn't sure I would be able to achieve my goal with no whey proteins, no dairy, no gluten, and being allergic to tree products (nuts, certain spices ... especially pepper), but Wendy was able to create an effective meal plan taking into consideration all my restrictions. While there were times, I was envious of some of the foods other people got to eat during their prep, I knew sticking to my plan was the best thing for my health! 
 
I fell in love with the lifestyle: the training, meal prep (even though some days were tough) and the friends I made during the process. I competed at the NPAA Canada Championships, placing 4th in Bikini tall and 6th in Fitness tall in my second show. I'm continuing to train and I'm embracing the "off-season" or muscle building phase, with the goal of competing again in the future.
